Apollo Diagnostics: First Regional Lab in Patna

Apollo Diagnostics recently launched a regional diagnostic lab in Saguna More, Patna. The purpose of this lab is to serve the region of Bihar, offering a wide range of pathology tests, done with equipment installed with futuristic technology.

The occurrence of lifestyle issues like diabetes is growing at a significant rate in India and is one of the biggest threats to the growth of the country. The latest international technology has been installed at the lab, such as a ‘Dry Chemistry analyzer’ from Johnson & Johnson, for tests

like Sugar and Lipids, which reduces water consumption and makes the results more accurate when samples are transported in the heat or over long periods of time.

There is a high-end machine (Horiba 5 part analyzer) for complete blood count that will help doctors identify the exact cause of infection it also helps differentiates between bacterial infection and worm infestation.
