MUSSEL ALLERGY TEST

This assay is used to detect the level of IgE antibodies in the blood to determine if the patient is allergic to mussel, a common shellfish. This test can check for allergic reactions to mussel's meat. If allergic to mussels, some cross-reactivity to oysters can also be expected.
