LEISHMANIA ANTIBODIES/ KALA AZAR ANTIBODIES ( IgG)

This enzyme immunoassay is used to detect active visceral leishmaniasis antibody ( IgG) in the blood serum. Patients with cutaneous leishmaniasis have detectable levels of leishmania IgG. Serum from patients with Trypanosoma cruzi infection shows significant cross-reactivity in leishmania IgG assay.
