LE CELL

This test is performed to measure the levels of LE cells in the blood to confirm systematic lupus erythematosus. It is caused due to the presence of antibodies which weaken tissues with its effect on kidney, brain, lungs, heart, skin, and joints. Indicators for LE cell test include fever, rashes, fatigue, joint pain.
