INFECTIOUS MonONUCLEOSIS I M ELISA

This is a qualitative test for detection of proteins in the blood called heterophile antibodies produced in response to EBV infection. Infectious Mononucleosis is an infection caused by Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV). These antibodies typically develop 3 weeks after infection, but some may take as long as 3 months in some patients.
