HLA-DQ TYPING

HLA - DQ typing is used to detect MHC class II HLA - DQ antigens, which are in fact integral participants in the immune response to intracellular infections, allograft and tumours. The presence of these antigens shows allelic variations within a genetic locus that often results to great variations between person to person.
