It is a self-limiting disease, which is usually transmitted by fecal-oral route. Upon clearance of virus, the Anti HAV IgG levels rise quickly and might persist for a number of years. The anti HAV IgG levels are the indicators of immunity that fights against the diseases, especially this virus.
