CD61 (MEGAKARYOCYTIC CELL MARKER)

This test requires tissue specimen at least 4micrn thick. CD61 is an important glycoprotein that determines platelet activation. The test helps establish megakaryocytes and platelets and helps distinguish between TTP and DIC.
