CD4 COUNT

CD4 cells are a type of white blood cells which destroy bacteria, viruses and other invading germs throughout the body. This test helps to know the count of CD4 cells in the blood. Keeping this CD4 count up along with anti- retroviral treatment can reduce complications for HIV patients and help them live longer.
