APPLE ALLERGY TEST

An IgE antibody allergy test is conducted, to test whether a patient is allergic to apples. In this assay, a blood sample of the patient is drawn to test for allergic reactions. According to research, an apple peel has higher levels of allergens than the pulp. Minor allergens present in birch pollen and Timothy pollen have common epitopes with antigens in apple and carrots thus it is best to get tested.
