Red Cell Osmotic Fragility (standard Method) Test In Dhenkanal

When a patient is suspected to have diagnosed with hereditary spherocytic hemolytic anaemia, this assay is carried out. It is useful in detecting the mild spherocytosis ( osmotically fragile cells that rupture easily) An increased fragility is indicated among the patients who have either received recent blood transfusions or are immuno- hemolytic anaemia.
