Microalbumin ( Mau)- Spot Urine Test In Delhi

This evaluation is carried out to assess the potential of early onset of nephropathy before development of proteinuria. It is recommended that all Type 1 diabetic patients >12 years and all Type 2 diabetic patients < 70 years should be tested for microalbuminuria annually. Usually random urine collection is acceptable but 24 hours of urine specimen is preferred.
