Renal biopsy is performed is performed using Light Microscopy ( LM) for evaluation of undiagnosed kidney disease in patients. Biopsy further detects diseases due to immune mechanisms and is useful in transplanted kidney for determination of acute rejection, recurrent disease or infection.
