Toxoplasma gondii is a parasite, which causes toxoplasmosis. It is believed that almost 23% of the population are healthy carriers of this condition. Transfer of this condition from a pregnant woman to her fetus can lead to severe disorders. This examination helps in the detection of Congenital/Acute acquired Toxoplasmosis.
