RBC INDICES (MCV, MCH & MCHC)

RBC indices are used to diagnose the cause of anaemia, a condition in which there are very few red blood cells. The indices include, average red blood cell size (MCV), Haemoglobin amount per red blood cell (MCH), the amount of the haemoglobin relative to the size of the cell per red blood cell (MCHC).
