Dust allergies at home usually occurs after sweeping or vacuuming and manifest as symptoms like sneezing, a stuffy or runny nose, or cause the eyes to itch or become red and watery.
Sometimes, a blood test and a skin test is required to confirm an allergy and it is done by exposing the blood or skin to allergens, such as tree pollen and pet dander and observing the reaction. A positive reaction (indicating that you're allergic) may show as a huge or a bump on the location where the prick has been made.
