HLA- (CLASS II ) TYPING

Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing is used to match patients and donors for bone marrow or cord blood transplants. The Panel Reactive antibodies, if found heightened, are associated with delayed graft function and an incidence of acute rejection or short graft survival.


How to prepare for the test?

Sample must be collected at least 48 hours before analysis. A brief clinical history is required.
