GALACTOSEMIA (URINE)

This assay is used to detect if someone has galactosemia using blood and urine tests which determine the presence of certain substances in the body. Galactosemia is an autosomal recessive disorder which results from the deficiency of any of the three enzymes required for galactose metabolism.
