CLOSTRIDUIM DIFFICILE TOXIN

Pseudo Membranous Colitis is caused by Clostridium difficile, which is a bacterial pathogen that also causes antibiotic diarrhea. It produces two toxins viz A and B which are considered enterotoxins. A positive result considers to be a presumptive result to Clostridium difficle infection.
