ANTI-MITOCHONDRIAL ANTIBODY (AMA) SCREENING

Less than 90 % of the Patients with primary biliary cirrhosis have mitochondrial antibodies present in their body. This test, however, is not as useful in detecting or monitoring the course of the disorder.
