Helicobacter pylori are bacteria that live in the digestive tract of the human body and cause ulcers over a period of time. This bacteria affects the lining of your stomach and leads to the production of acid in the stomach. It then attacks the lining of the stomach which causes ulcers and internal bleeding. ImG or Immunoglobin M is the first and largest antibody released by the body in response to fighting an infection. The test is conducted by sampling blood to test the presence of these antibodies.
