The test is useful for the patients who are suspected to suffer from autoimmune vasculitis. Autoantibodies to PR3 are found in the patients suffering from Wegener's granulomatosis and Antibodies to MPO (p-ANCA) are found in the patients suffering from Microscopic Polyangiitis.
