Aminoaciduria Screening - Urine (SPOT)

There are several types of amino acids that are responsible for building blocks of proteins in the body. It is common for a few of these amino acids to be found in the urine. However, high levels of individual amino acids in the urine indicate issues with metabolism. This condition is known as aminoaciduria. Aminoaciduria screening is recommended in both adults and children to detect this condition.
