This is IgE antibody allergy test to determine if the patient is allergic to lobster. It is also used to determine patient's body responses to allergens such as antigen preparations, anaphylactic drugs and bee stings. The test is useful as lobster allergy can lead to a life-threatening allergic reaction anaphylaxis.
