75 percent of patients with Crohn's disease are diagnosed with the presence of antibody Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Patients with Ulcerative colitis also have these antibodies but in fairly lesser numbers than the former. To test and analyze the antibody, an ASCA - ANTI Saccharomyces Cerevisiae antibody test is conducted.
