Cryoglobulins precipitate spontaneously and reversibly at less than body temperature within 3 days. Cryoglobulins are insoluble at 4 degree Celsius which might aggregate up to 30-degree Celsius. It usually fixes complement and initiates the inflammatory reaction. This evaluation is useful for diagnosing patients with vasculitis or lymphoproliferative disease.
