Activated Protein C Resistance
The test is used to evaluate patients who suffer from recurrent venous thromboembolism and have a family history for the same. It is also used in the case of women with recurrent miscarriages or complications during pregnancy. The test can also be used to evaluate individuals who have a history of Arterial Thrombosis.
How to prepare for the test?
Avoid Heparin for 1 day and Oral Anticoagulants for 7 days prior to test.
