This test is used to evaluate patients with symptoms of connective tissue disorder in whom ANA is positive. SS-A/Ro antibodies occur in patients with Sjogren's syndrome, Lupus erythematosus and Rheumatoid arthritis. SS-B/La antibodies occur in patients with Sjogren's syndrome and Lupus erythematosus.
